This course aims to provide training and experience of field geological survey for undergraduate students, mostly for students in their junior year. We plan to focus on topics that are related to some major geological hazards, such as tectonic movement and landslide. The actual field area will be determined on the basis of the specific topic chosen. Studente with a previous experience of Geological Surveying (II) are preferred, but not required. The students are expected to join the field survey, work with the professor on the specific research topic in the field, and finish a written report of the field work. The grades will be determined by the participation of the student in the field and the content of the report.
